I’ve just got back from a meeting about the recycling workshops. My project was fine and I’m alright to carry on developing the workshop. It’s going to be an all day bookable adult workshop, class of 10 on 11th March and I'll have a helper.
I need to decide what materials need purchasing, I’m pretty sure I’m only going to need pens but I’m not sure what type yet. So far I’ve found that most pens rub off the plastic, marker pen is best but does get on your hands a little bit with one of the types of plastic milk containers. The problem is that the pen doesn’t wash off the plastic easily for a good finished result. I had to really scrub at it. The original garland I made was free hand so didn’t have that problem but I’m not sure everyone could cut it out without a guideline. The risk assesment needs to be in soonish, but mine will be quite simple.
I finished the first complete draft for the Butterfly Park Proposal today. I’ve added some quick simple sketches to show what should be produced from a workshop, not sure if I should put it in though, might be better without.
I dropped off my work to Wendy this evening for Stockholm art fair.
