The first of the framed sinister structure pieces is finished and framed. It differs a lot from the first Sinister Structure I made for the Arena Auction earlier this year. I’ve found an easier way of making them which makes that one truly one of a kind because I couldn’t go back to that way of working again, as it was so intense and took all my concentration. This new work is easier on the eye but in being so I fear it loses something in this changed process. I think it’s a lot neater working backwards. By working forwards the circular appearance was lost a little as it grew and achieved an awkwardness that appeals to me.
maybe that the new work shouldn’t have the same title...
Maybe the title should be something about the change and growth of the work…
